March is a big month for the ski resorts Up North. Visit Nub's Nob, The Highlands at Harbor Springs, and Boyne Mountain for winter fun!
There are many Easter Egg Hunts and activities to be enjoyed by families throughout Northern Michigan each spring.

Easter Egg Hunt
Children ages 0-8 will have their egg hunt in Washington Park and kids 9 and up will have theirs in Major City Park. All children are encouraged to bring their own Easter baskets to collect eggs. Hosted by Cheboygan Main Street-Downtown Development Authority. Washington Park- E. Elm St. Major City Park- 1101 N. Huron St., Cheboygan.
Fairgrounds Egg Scramble
Egg hunts, food, and more for all ages. Bring your own basket. Emmett County Fairgrounds Community Center- 1129 Charlevoix Ave., Petoskey.
Easter Egg Hunt with visit from the Easter Bunny

Easter Luncheon & Egg Hunt
Age groups are: 2 and under, 3-4 years, 5-6 years, and 7-10 years. The hunt will include 4500 prize-filled eggs. Please bring your own basket to collect eggs. Hosted by Charlevoix State Band and the Charlevoix Area Chamber of Commerce. Charlevoix at East Park- 400 Bridge St., Charlevoix.

Michigan Spring Festival: Meet Baby Farm Animals
This family-friendly event invites visitors to meet adorable newborn animals including lambs, baby yaks, and more while enjoying a relaxed, authentic farm setting. Cost is $10 per person with a $25 minimum, and $9 per person for groups of 6 or more. Pre-registration is required by visiting kiwidinkok.com. Northern Michigan Camping & RV Show

Hops ‘n Highlands
This annual event includes a beer tasting, live music, ice bar, food trucks, keg bowling, and more. The Highlands- 600 Highland Dr., Harbor Springs.
Frostbite Trail Tasting Event
This event takes participants on a one-of-a-kind culinary adventure through Antrim and Charlevoix Counties. Local businesses offer small bites paired with a 2oz wine pour, a cider or beer tasting, or a sample cocktail. The event takes place monthly and is a pay-as-you-go event with no tickets required. First Friday Charlevoix

EJPS Extravaganza
This event is a fundraiser for East Jordan Public Schools and tickets are $65 until February 17th and $75 each from February 18th until the event. Tickets include dining, dancing, and a complimentary Happy Hour from 5:30-6:30pm courtesy of The Landing Restaurant. Only 200 tickets will be sold and are available at the District or Middle School/High School Offices. The Boathouse on Lake Charlevoix- 204 Water St., East Jordan.
Northern Michigan Home and Outdoor Living Show
Visit with more than 70 booths at the Home and Outdoor Living show. See kitchen and bath specialists, decks, home systems, builders, designers, and more. Cost is $5 for adults, free for those age 17 and under. Show runs Friday from 11am-5pm and Saturday from 9am-4pm at North Central Michigan College- 1515 Howard St., Petoskey. Leapin’ Leprechaun 5k
Proceeds from the race are being donated to the Munson Medical Center’s new Family Birth and Children’s Center. Along with the race, there will also be a costume contest. The race will start and end right next to Brady’s Bar- 401 S. Union St., Traverse City. Register at runsignup.com.
St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Pub Crawl

The annual event includes activities and competitions for all ages. Nub’s Nob- 500 Nub’s Nob Rd., Harbor Springs.
Kids Spring Blast Party Activities include games, prizes, lunch, an Easter egg hunt cake walk, and a special visit from the Easter Bunny. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Church of the Straights- 307 N. Huron Ave., Mackinaw City.

This weekend long event includes the slush cup, live music, wine tasting, and the chance to ski across the pond. The Highlands- 600 Highland Rd., Harbor Springs.

At this Boyne City festival, hundreds of mushroom lovers from around the country come to seek that elusive delicacy-the marvelous morel.

This 25-year-old rite of spring in Northern Michigan is a bike ride from the Zoo Bar at Boyne Highlands, Harbor Springs, to Mackinaw City.

The Fort Michilimackinac Historical Reenactment Pageant in Mackinaw City is the U.S.’ longest running free Memorial Day historical program.

People come from all over to celebrate the July 4th in Harbor Springs for the gorgeous setting along the water and many great activities.

While it may be the gateway to Mackinac Island, Mackinaw City offers it’s own set of awesome festivals and events.

This 3-day festival in Boyne City begins with a run along Lake Charlevoix and ends with fireworks, with food, fun, and more in between!

It’s just for kids–a fishing pond in Petoskey! Kids can throw a line in this one acre pond stocked with trout.

The arts, history and many types of entertainment in Northern Michigan mean visitors can enjoy fabulous music, theatre, and culture.

The Charlevoix Circle of Arts is a vibrant, cultural center in downtown Charlevoix that presents six major visual exhibits annually.

Mackinaw City’s Heritage Village lets visitors explore life in the Straits of Mackinac as it was during the era of 1880-1917.

Crooked Tree Arts Center is a place where artists from northern Michigan can display their talents and artwork to the public.

Travel along the Tunnel of Trees in Northern Michigan and you will pass through Good Hart and see historic Saint Ignatius Catholic Church.
