Downtown Petoskey Winter Wonderland Weekend

Celebrate the winter at Winter Wonderland Weekend in downtown Petoskey. As of 2020, this event is in partnership with the long-running Winter Sports Park Winter Carnival.

Here's the typical schedule for the event:

All Weekend

  • Bumpjumper Scavenger Hunt – Look for photos throughout downtown shops and restaurants for a chance to win $200, $300, and $500 in Downtown Dollars. When you spot the photo, scan the QR code and complete the quick entry form. Three lucky winners will randomly be selected and contacted on 2/21/23. For more detailed information, visit petoskeydowntown.com/events.
  • Downtown Dollars Contest – Enter to be awarded $500 in Downtown Dollars. Fill out the form and upload up to 5 receipts to prove you’ve shopped Downtown Petoskey during the event weekend. No specific dollar value has to be spent—one entry is allowed per person. One lucky winner will be randomly selected on 2/21/23.

     

Friday

  • 3-7pm – Chocoholic Frolic. Tour the downtown stores, and be treated to chocolate treats wherever you go! If you visit all of the participating stores, you can enter into the drawing for the Chocoholic Gift Basket. To participate, simply pick up a Stamp Book at the Downtown Office or at any participating store and start your chocolate tour!

Saturday

Downtown
  • 12-3pm  – Book signing of Eve’s Covering by local author Elsie McKenney at Lost Village Pierogi- 307 Petoskey St., Petoskey
  • 2-4pm – Downtown Petoskey Chili Trail. Visit each participating store for chili samples and fun. Find a map of the trail here.
  • 6:30-11pm – 6 Year Anniversary Party with live music featuring The John Archambault Band from 8-11pm, food by Spring & Porter from 6:30-8pm. Tickets are $35/person.
  • TBA – Live Ice Carving
Winter Sports Park
  • 10am – International Bumpjump Competition
  • 6pm – Cardboard Classic
