Enjoy Easter Egg Hunts & Activities in Northern Michigan

Hunting for Easter eggs is a part of spring that children love. Typically on Easter weekend in Northern Michigan communities, the hunt is on for the eggs. Don’t miss one of these Easter egg hunts or other fun, Easter-themed activities!

Here's a list of Easter egg hunts and activities that typically take place:

  • Kids Spring Blast Party at Church of the Straights- 307 N. Huron Ave., Mackinaw City. Activities include games, prizes, lunch, an Easter egg hunt cake walk, and a special visit from the Easter Bunny. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Mail letters to the Easter Bunny at the mailbox in front of Grandpa Shorter’s Gifts, Inc.- 301 E. Lake St., Petoskey.
  • Michigan Spring Festival: Meet Baby Farm Animals at Kiwidinok Tibetan Yak Petting Farm- 1735 South Wilson Rd., Boyne City. This family-friendly event invites visitors to meet adorable newborn animals including lambs, baby yaks, and more while enjoying a relaxed, authentic farm setting. Cost is $10 per person with a $25 minimum, and $9 per person for groups of 6 or more.   • Treats and pictures with the Easter Bunny at Grandpa Shorter’s Gifts, Inc.
  • Ellsworth Community Easter Egg Hunt at Ellsworth Community Park- 9238 Lake St., Ellsworth. The event is sponsored by The Caring Families Foundation and include prizes, books, and yard toys. Age groups are 0-2, 3-4, 5-6, and 7 and older. 
  • Easter on Main is an event with multiple activities happening at 403 N. Huron St., Cheboygan. Visit facebook.com for the details.
  • Easter Fun & Games with prizes, candy, & more. Hosted by the East Jordan Lions Club in the East Jordan Elementary School Gym- 304 4th St., East Jordan.
  • Easter Egg Hunt at Zorn Park- 151 E. Bay St., Harbor Springs.
  • Easter Egg Hunt for ages 1-13 at Johannesburg Christian Church-10722 M-32, Johannesburg.
  • Easter Egg Hunt – Age groups are: 2 and under, 3-4 years, 5-6 years, and 7-10 years. The hunt will include 4500 prize-filled eggs. Please bring your own basket to collect eggs. Hosted by Charlevoix State Band and the Charlevoix Area Chamber of Commerce. Charlevoix at East Park- 400 Bridge St., Charlevoix.
  • Fairgrounds Egg Scramble with egg hunts, food, and more for all ages. Bring your own basket. Emmett County Fairgrounds Community Center- 1129 Charlevoix Ave., Petoskey.
  • Treats and pictures with the Easter Bunny at Grandpa Shorter’s Gifts, Inc.
  • Easter Brunch at Stafford’s Weathervane- 109 Pine River Lane, Charlevoix. 
  • Pet photos with the Easter Bunny at Grandpa Shorter’s Gift, Inc.
