Summer starts with a bang with East Jordan’s Freedom Festival. With food, music, fun, entertainment, carnival, dancing, and more, the Festival is packed with activities for the entire family

Here's the most updated event schedule:

Daily Carnival Hours: Wednesday & Thursday from 5-10pm, and Friday & Saturday from 12-10pm

Wednesday, June 24th, 2026

  • 6pm – Firecrackers Pageant at East Jordan High School- 101 Maple St., East Jordan. Three age divisions: Little Firecrackers for ages 5-7, Junior Firecrackers for ages 8-11, and Firecrackers for ages 12-16. Entry fee is $25. Click here to register or for more info.

Thursday, June 25th, 2026

  • 6:30pm – Youth Parade with line-up at East Jordan Helping Hearts-500 Edward St. and beginning at Sportsmans Park. Then it will turn right on Bridge Street and then turn left on Spring Street and end at Memorial Park. Awards and refreshments immediately following the parade in Memorial Park.
  • 7pm – Kids Entertainment with Christian Rasmussen Magic at the Memorial Park Band Shell.
  • 9:30pm – Outdoor Movie featuring Hoppers at Loveday Field (across from EZ Mart- 651 Water St.). Free. Bring blankets or chairs.

Friday, June 26th, 2026

  • 5:30pm – Cornhole Tournament Check-in/Registration at Memorial Park near restrooms. 20 teams allowed. $50/2-person team. Cash prizes awarded to top 3 teams.
  • 6pm – Cornhole Tournament at Memorial Park.
  • 6-9:30pm – Block Party at Memorial Park, Spring Street, & Harbor Parking Lot which includes live music, food, games, prizes, booths with activities hosted by local organizations, and more. Theme: “Celebrating Freedom Since 1776!”
  • 6-9:30pm – Live music featuring Country Thunder in the Memorial Park Bandshell.
  • 7pm, 8pm, 9pm – Button Drawings at the bandshell in Memorial Park. Purchase a commemorative East Jordan Freedom Festival Button to be entered for a chance to win one of nine fabulous prizes, plus one very special, once-in-a-lifetime chance to set off the secular Freedom Festival Fireworks display on Saturday night. Must be present to win.

Saturday, June 27th, 2026

  • 10am-2pm – Kids Activities in Memorial Park. Bounce Houses, Face Painting, Tattoo Booth, Megan the Balloon Artist, and more.
  • 4pm – Grand Parade  beginning at East Jordan Family Health Center- 601 Bridge St. Theme: “Celebrating Freedom Since 1776!” For rules & registration form, click here.
  • 5-7pm – Live music featuring Split Decision in the Memorial Park Bandshell.
  • 7:15pm – Grand Festival Raffle at Memorial Park. Win one of 10- $100 cash prizes or the Grand Prize of $1,000. Tickets will be on sale during the festival at the Freedom Festival Information Booth or from any Festival Board Member. Need not be present to win.
  • 7:30pm – Live music featuring Yankee Station in the Memorial Park Bandshell.
  • Dusk – Fabulous Fireworks over Memorial Park. (Rain date: June 28th, 2026)

Sunday, June 28th, 2026

  • TBA – Freedom Lover’s Breakfast at the Trailblazers Clubhouse- 5586 Mt. Bliss Rd. Cost is $10 for Adults and $6 for kids.
