Skitoberfest at Boyne Mountain Celebrates Fall & Winter

The Annual Skitoberfest is a fall extravaganza and homecoming taking place in the Boyne Mountain Village and surrounding Northern Michigan area. Skitoberfest celebrates the best of fall’s family offerings in an Oktoberfest style setting. Highlights include, great food, Michigan beers, wines and spirits, plus music and endless family entertainment.

Here's what happened last year:

  • 12-5pm – Winter Expo
  • 12-5pm – Kid’s Zone –  Bounce House, Inflatables, Face Painting, Games, Paintball, and more
  • 12-5pm – Fire Dancers
  • 12-5pm – FREE Scenic Chairlift Rides
  • 12-5pm – Bier Alley – Michigan Craft Beers, Michigan Spirits, Food Trucks
  • 12-5pm – Pumpkin Smashing
  • 12-5pm – SkyBridge Michigan Open
  • 1-3:30pm Stein Hoisting Qualifying Rounds
  • 1-4pm – Live Music featuring the Broom Closet Boys
  • 1-4pm – Balloon Twisting
  • 1-4pm – Spouse Carrying Competition
  • 1-4pm – Keg Throwing Competition
  • 2pm – Pond Pedal – Prizes for Best Crash & Fastest Across
  • 4:15pm – Stein Hoisting Championship, prizes for champions
  • 4:30pm – Pray for Snow Bonfire
  • 5-8pm – After Party with DJ Bill Da Cat in the Back Forty Biergarten, Red Bull Truck, prizes
  • 8pm-12am  – Snowflake After Party
